Why families choose to work with me
Deciding to seek counseling or coaching — for yourself, your teen, or your young adult child — is never an easy decision. I believe the relationship between you and your therapist or coach is one of the biggest factors in whether that work actually helps, so I focus on treating the whole person and the whole family, not just a diagnosis.
I specialize in individual, teen, and family counseling, with particular depth in addiction, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum concerns, and Failure to Launch — the pattern where a capable young adult gets stuck: unmotivated, withdrawn, or unable to build the follow-through adulthood requires. I also offer career and life coaching, available nationwide by video call, for people who don’t need clinical counseling but do need help getting unstuck.
My approach is eclectic — drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapy — but always built around your specific situation, not a generic protocol.

Parent of a “stuck” young adult?
If you’re a parent watching your adult child struggle to launch — low motivation, gaming/screen overuse, no follow-through, still dependent at home — I created Stick the Launch, a self-paced parent course built from the same framework I use in my clinical practice. It’s designed for parents anywhere in the country, no in-person therapy required.
